COWS Scholarships
The Central Ohio Watercolor Society offers two types of scholarships. The first is open to anyone, the second only to art educators. These scholarships are given once a year. The deadline for completion of the online application form is February 1 of each year.
Individual Scholarship
Amount: $500
This scholarship is made to individuals who wish to develop their watercolor skill. Recipients may already have been using watercolor for a while, or they may have just begun work in the medium. In either case, the intention of this scholarship is to allow the individual to gain greater proficiency in watercolor.

Art Educator Scholarship
Amount: $500
This scholarship is for instructors who are using watercolor in their classes or who plan to do so in the near future. In either case, the intention of this award is to allow the instructor to become a more skillful practitioner of watercolor, to become a more knowledgeable watercolor instructor, and to increase art students’ exposure to watercolor.
