Spring Show Reception March 12th 6-8 at the Shot Gallery

The Central Ohio Watercolor 51st Spring Show is open and looks fantastic! The artists reception is March 12th from 6-8 pm. Please bring finger foods for the reception. Please contact Linda Coe if you have volunteered to help setup the reception.
The Gallery is located at Fort Hayes Shot Tower Gallery 546 Jack Gibbs Blvd. Columbus, Ohio 43215

The show runs from March 2nd through to March 27th, 2015.

March 14th Meeting - Featuring Jim Fought How to Paint Snow Demo

Jim Fought is known for his detailed paintings of rural scenes. He has captured many a winter in central Ohio and he is here to take our fear out of snow Jim is a self taught watercolorist. He is a member of the Central Ohio Watercolor Society (class of 1999), the Delaware Artists Guild, and an Associate member of the Ohio Watercolor Society. His paintings have been exhibited in many juried shows in Central Ohio, including the Franklin Park
Conservatory, the Schumacher Gallery at Capital University, High Road Gallery, Upper Arlington Lutheran Church Gallery, Lancaster Library Gallery, and the Arts Castle in Delaware. Jim also had a one man show at the Ohio State University (Marion). He has received numerous awards at Ohio art shows. Jim also teaches watercolor classes at the Arts Castle.
