The only time "white"is permitted in a COWS meeting, is for this "White" Elephant" art gift exchange TONIGHT. Bring anything art related, old book, tube of paint you bought and hated, brush, paper, tool, anything you are not using. Wrap it and throw it in the pile of surprises. Should be loads of fun. Bring a snack to share and we will have a great time talking art and laughing at the gifts.

Take - in 10 am to noon German Village Meeting Haus 588 S. 3rd St.
Remember to enter through the south 3rd St. entrance have you paintings, entry form (filled out) and your check. This is also a great time to pay dues for 2018 year membership (due in January). All new 2017 members entering the show are asked to pay their 2018 dues at this time. Answer to a questions that have been asked .... yes, paintings must be for sale. Yes, that have to be 100% watercolor , no white, & white or off white mat. If a painting sells German Village gets 25% of the sale price. Reception this Sunday Nov. 19th 2-4 Please come bring friends and finger food to share. Coffee, punch, and wine are provided. Awards given at 3:00 Please consider volunteering for the reception setup and teardown! the sign up sheet is below Bring in a couple of pieces to have critiqued before our next show. Judy offers lots of good advice and information about finishing a painting or even a drawing you may be struggling with.
